did anyone else had problems with buying the RS books???

Coz when I went to buy it the man gave me a book called Muslim Civilisations and when I asked for the book 'from the stage to the prayer mat' he said it isn't necessary to buy coz we are using the novel later on during the year !!
exactly the same situation for me!! yeah, the person gave my mum Muslim Civilisations!!! we have some serious talking to do with Ms Cicek or whoever we have for RS this year...
and school starts on the 30th of Jan... i know.. pretty early!!!!!
